Owl so Friendly Words

Just got back from holiday … sandy beaches, sunshine, swimming in the clear blue sea … and peacocks pinching your pastie … Peacocks pinching pasties? I am not kiddding, it happened to us on our last day. Wonderful Wales! Watch this space for more scrapbooking. I am sure you will want to meet the pastie eating peacock.

For those of you who didn’t make it to last months ‘Die Cutting, Embossing & Punching ‘ class here is a little project you might want to try yourself:

Owl so Friendly Words

the card with a pocket and tag. It used all the techniques the class was about. I just love the way the colours work together. It is fun, bright and uplifting.

I used melon mambo, old olive, elegant eggplant and whisper white card stock; old olive and melon mambo classic ink pads, top note sizzix die, vintage wallpaper sizzix embossing folder, two-step owl and 1 3/4″ scallop circle extra-large punches and the friendly words jumbo wheel. The ribbon is melon mambo grosgrain ribbon from my stash and could be easily replaced wth 5/8″ organza ribbon (white) which is in the current catalogue.

That’s it for today. Have a lovely weekend! 🙂
