Where is time going, it seems to be racing away with me. Had a busy week at work. Nevertheless I got something done with a button (this weeks theme of the challenge at ‘Out of a Hat Creations’) and I might even get done something else which I am hoping to post on Wednesday. 🙂
Not having much luck with posting today, somehow managed to lose the whole post. Well never mind!
To todays project. It is based on something Dianne showed me on Monday and I’ve turned it into gift wrapping for my husbands birthday present or at least one of them. I love using Stampin’UP!’s natural ivory card stock to create aged looks. It slightly mutes the colours when you stamp on it, so you’re already half way there. Most of the supplies for today’s project came from SU apart from the raffia, the corner rounder punch and the burgundy card. The stamps/stamp sets I used are: Woodgrain, En Francais, French Foliage, Sense of Time (retired), So Happy For You (retired); the inks are: more mustard, bravo burgundy, Sahara sand, crumb cake, close to cocoa (retired), tea stain distress ink; plus the punches: word window and spiral border (retired); twine; designer button (retired).
Off to Wales again. Until next week. Happy Crafting!!!
Finally, here it is:
