Time to Celebrate

Hi Everybody,

This is the last of the cards I made on Saturday:

Time to Celebrate

They are invitations I made for someone’s special Birthday in a few months’ time. Sorry about the picture looking a bit dull, it was taken in bright daylight … promise …LOL … it might have been a bit overcast.

For this card I used a simple yet effective masking technique. I started off stamping the sentiment, masked it, then stamped the scalloped circle, masked that one, stamped the bubble circle and so on …

This technique is very effective to give the illusion of layers without adding bulk and a large letter postage.

What I used: Circle Circus stamp set, daffodil delight, lucky limeade, primrose petals, tempting turquoise and concord crush inks from Stampin’UP! plus the sentiment circle stamp from Craft Stamper Magazine (past issue).

That’s it for the moment. Hoping to be back soon with more … until then

Happy Crafting!!! 🙂
