Cute and Girlie Winnings

Hi Everybody,

thanks for all your lovely comments, they are very much appreciated.

Today I have a piece of good news to share. Last week I found out that I won a prize over at the Happy Little Stampers Forum, link in my sidebar, simply click the picture.

Part of the prize were some adorable digis by Kathryne from StampArt Designs, and I was able to choose my own. One of my chosen digis is called Katie and I used her to make the card below. Kathryne also sponsors the current challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More and I would like to enter this beauty into their Mark Your Mark Challenge.

Katie with Daisy

The other piece of good new is that I came across a very affordable range of alcohol markers … Tinge Art Markers …

I coloured Katie’s skin and dress using my new Tinge Art Markers which I bought in The Works for only 99 pence each, a bargain. They handle differently to my Promarkers, but they do have a finer tip which is great for detail work. The colour range is not as large either, but I still think they are a really good budget option, I just need to get used to them. You can also buy them online, where they have a better range than in my local store. I just bought some more and got a discount voucher for friends, feel free to use the link below.

As I was crafting with some friends yesterday and we used some of the markers again to make this lovely card following the same layout I used for Katie’s card.

Freebie stamps Quick cards issue 130

Again I used the Tinge Markers to colour the skin and clothes, still need to work on the shading. The stamp is a freebie from Quick Cards Made Easy, out 14th August 2014. Got mine early in the post.

Back soon with more inspiration.

ATSM Challenge 106

Hi Everybody,

Thanks so much for your lovely comments. They were all very much appreciated.

Well I’m back from holiday and slowly getting back into the swing of things.

It is Wednesday and time for another challenge atĀ Addicted to Stamps and MoreĀ …Ā Ā Challenge #106 – Anything Goes!!!

Please take the time to check out the full details of the challenges and their rules, which can be found here.

Eureka Stamps is back again as our sponsor this week! The winner gets 3 digis. There are some fab images in their shop, you can check them out here.

Here is what I made to help your creative juices to flow …

Thank You heart

I did challenge myself a bit to do something different and not use stamps. I used pretty papers and die cuts instead to make this bright and cheerful card with a summery theme.

The papers were downloads from the Quick Cards Made Easy magazine’s August issue. I printed them off this afternoon and by dinner time I had made four cards!!! Here are the other three …

Bee's Knees

Coming for a Picnic

… of course the tag can sit also fit straight into it’s pocket, but you wouldn’t have been able to see the writing.

Birthday Ladybirds

With the above Ā one I meant to add some twine, and then I forgot … but is still looks nice with it’s wavy greeting banner.

HopeĀ that you feel inspired to allow your imagination to flourish and enterĀ this week’s ‘Anything Goes’ challenge at ATSM,Ā please pop over and see all the other creations of the fabulous ATSM DT Team.

Ā … look forward to seeing your creations … and
Happy Crafting!!!!

Happy Easter

Hi Everybody,
Just a quick post to wish you all a very happy Easter!
.. and to share some good news with you.
My copy of the May issue of Quick Cards Made Easy came through the post today, it’s due in the shops next week Thursday, 24th April. As always there is a great cover gift, embossing folder and stamp, it’s packed with great care ideas and best of all a card of mine features in the ‘Designer for a Day’ feature on page 73.
Here’s a pic to proof it:
