The above cards are this year’s entries for the National Cardmaker of the Year 2013 Competition. Fingers crossed. I will let you know how I get on. Sorry none of these won, but I’m sure that they were enjoyed anyway.
Well I had a little break from entering competitions until I emailed this little beauty for the Facebook Sketch Challenge at Quick Cards Made Easy last month. It is published in the current issue of QCME.
This lovely birdhouse clock was made following instructions from the Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine, and got published in their letter pages.
This summery card was amongst the winning entries in another competition at Quick Cards Made Easy this year for making a summer themed card. It won me a Fancy Pants Stash of goodies.
This seaside card won me the ‘Honourable Addict Badge’ at Addicted to Stamps and More in their May colour challenge. That was before I became part of their DT.
This card was also published in the Quick cards Made Easy letter section, it used the free stamp set from the magazine earlier this year.
One of these was also published in Quick Cards Made Easy under the card school homework heading earlier this year.
This beauty was made following the shadow box card tutorial in Quick Cards Made Easy earlier this year and was published in the letter pages.
This one was a completion entry that didn’t win, buy was featured in the Reader’s Gallery instead early this year. Sorry about the pic, I only wanted a quick shot for my records, never planned on starting this page …
A card similar to this one, the greeting said ‘hello’ I think, got published in the reader’s pages of Simply Cards & Papercraft early this year.
This plane won 3rd prize in The Woodware section of the National Cardmaker of the year 2012 competition.
The above 2 cards were amongst the other cards I entered into the same competition, but didn’t win a prize.
This one was featured last year in ‘Crafts Beautiful’, it was entered into their ‘Ice Cream’ competition.
This little belle, won in a competition and got featured in the ‘Quick Cards Made Easy’ Magazine last year. The theme was to make a card using one colour.
I think this was my first ever competition entry a couple of years ago. I entered it into a completion with ‘Simply Cards & Papercraft’, at least that’s the one I think it was. It was amongst the winning entries for a Fiskars punch around the corner snowflake punch.
